On 8th March 2025 on International Women’s Day, the Queens Rapid Chess Tournament was held in Kenya.

A total of 47 chess players took part in this tournament with @yve_chessqueen seeding 2nd place with a solid result of 6/7 points.

She also participated in the universities event where they had playoffs to pick the best female & male to play in the annual Abu Dhabi open in August. She came 1st
