@AdventureBeard I just finished Two Towers last night. I'm eyeing what's next after I finish RotK. Another Discworld, three body problem, or hitchhikers guide.
@AdventureBeard it's not for everything (and likely not a solution for your wrestling), but been trying htmx. Simplifying my dependencies and build steps by a lot.
@AtkinsonCraig weekly tutor + JLPT class. A bit expensive, but it's been the main thing to actually keep improving for me lately. it does feel slow some weeks (or months). Any method that has actual output/interactions with others (in Japanese) will have the most "tangible" progress imo.
@AtkinsonCraig 日本語with あこ Nihongo Picnic
kotsu kotsu nihongo
Learn Japanese with Noriko
Tofugu
JLPT Stories (maybe dead)
The Konnichiwa Podcast
ひいきびいき(not Japanese learning specific, but chill listening on a variety of topics, might need to search for mirror for episodes)
@tokini_andy I follow for the lessons, interesting study experiments, and study tips. This one just seemed like some gimmick. I want knowledge! not money! :)
@wynlim I think there's a chance of it being incompetence over malice, but either case can lead to the same result of the people who made it worth sticking around will all leave.
@craigmod In my experience so far, smaller (or more .. themed? focused?) instances are much better. it's closer to joining a web forum with a small-ish like-minded community. Where joining a larger server is just a firehose of peoples half thoughts.
