When we replace play with standardized instruction in early childhood, we ignore Piaget’s stages, Vygotsky’s scaffolding, and Erikson’s need for initiative. It’s no longer about how children learn—but how adults expect them to perform.
Some kids believe they can.
Some believe they never will.
Some stopped believing years ago.
Some are just waiting for someone to believe first.
Be that someone.

Education isn’t broken because of teachers. It’s broken because we ask teachers to be counselors, social workers, parents, and miracle workers—while still demanding perfect test scores. Fix the system, not the people holding it together.
Veteran teachers are the backbone of education. They’ve endured all the reasons some teachers leave the field. They also survived the latest programs, initiatives, & testing. They have much wisdom, experience & expertise if leaders are willing to listen. Value & appreciate them!

While the principal is the thermostat, the culture of a school is created by everyone in the school. Walk in a school and see how the front office staff talks and interacts or the staff /teachers in the hallway. Everyone is ultimately responsible for a positive school culture.
Two teachers can teach the exact same lesson and get completely different results. The variable? The teachers’ passion and creativity.
The power is not in the program. The power is in the magic the teacher brings.
