I am obviously biased. However, we have something special happening in athletics @PaulQuinn1872.

We took a lot of heat early in my tenure for cutting sports and prioritizing sustainable fiscal health over short-term, stop gap measures that would have made aspects of our community happy. We were never “anti-athletics”. Rather, we were pro-sustainability. Big difference.

Once our house got in order, we adhered to our plan- upgrade facilities to attract a higher caliber of coaches and administrators. Strong coaches and administrators recruit premium on-field talent. The combination of all three produce winning programs.

We also overhauled our business model to mitigate our financial disadvantages when it comes to athletic scholarships.

The end result is that we are about to enter a period of highly successful teams across the athletic department and if all goes even close to plan, it will be sustainable.

We will be the best small college athletic program in America. Watch.
