My ‘good guys’ are about to board the plane and head out on a high-stakes mission, from their base in the Crans-Montana plateau. The shot is inspired by The Expendables, but these guys aren't mercenaries and they defintely aren't 'normal' soldiers.

Must admit bees get the cup and cardboard treatment - hubby is happy to help on that score. Wasps and hornets get the OMFG shut the door and run away reaction from me. Flies, woodlice. bleurgh; I kill them. I hate that I rent a house with woodlice and cluster flies. Did I mention the bats in the attic?!

@ThrillaRilla369 I feel this one 100%. I might even use that at the next awkward af 'icebreaker'. Those ones where the host asks you to say your name and what you do; what you didn't brief the guest before they arrived and now we have to do this exercise in cringe?!

Check this out. The Château de Malmaison features in my book; yes the Château once owned by Empress Joséphine. Great contrast between the elegant setting and what goes on in there in my story, but I can't tell you yet! I can't wait to finish revising, get the edits done and tell you all about it.
