@EzraGlass85349@hell_line0 I get your point… like if they’re both children who’s to blame… but the autistic comment is wild. Autistic people aren’t just out here r*ping children. Billionaires, yes but not autistic people.
@Sec_Noem @RealTomHoman@ICEDirector@CBPCommissioner This is good. You haven’t been transparent up until now but you absolutely need to enforce ICE agents to wear them. You should never have reversed the policy that required they wear them.
@Lorizh00@PatriotWoman22@DHSgov I’m not going to call you a moron like these other accounts, but it’s obviously fake. Independent Press outlets have also confirmed she has no criminal record at the time of her death. Ask yourself, why do people need to make up lies like this to justify her killing?
@DHSgov Why is your version blurry at the end unlike the original? And why is the shooting cut out?
Oh. That's right. You only leaked this selectively edited video to make Renee Good look like a bitch that deserved to die. Then realized the final second didn't help your case.🖕
@DHSgov Just trying to understand your argument here, is it that if someone has impeded your officer for 3 minutes then the officer is allowed to shoot them in the face?
🚨BREAKING: Newly released ICE agent camera footage directly contradicts the claim that Renee Nicole Good tried to hit an agent with her vehicle.
From the agent’s own angle, it’s clear Renee Nicole Good never posed a threat.
In the synchronized footage, you can see her wife attempting to get into the car. They are preparing to leave.
Suddenly, multiple ICE agents rush the vehicle. One agent moves toward the driver’s door and attempts to open it, trying to pull her out.
Renee backs up. She then clearly turns the wheel AWAY from the agent.
The agent has an unobstructed view of the steering wheel on his phone. He can see she is turning the car away, not toward him.
That is when he pulls his gun.
He does not draw his weapon because she is threatening him with the vehicle, he can see she is turning AWAY from him.
He draws it to stop her from leaving.
As the car turns away, the agent leans over the hood and fires the first shot.
By the second shot, he is already further to the side of the vehicle.
By the third shot, the car is driving away.
Every single shot was fired after it was clear the vehicle was moving AWAY from him.
Those shots were not fired to protect his life.
They were fired to stop her from leaving.
That is not self-defense.
That is lethal force used to prevent escape.
That is murder.
NYT video analysis is pretty definitive. He was out of the path of the vehicle when he fired, the tires were clearly turned to the right, and the President and others are relying on the poorest quality clip to argue he was struck by the vehicle. He wasn’t.
I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional information changes the calculus.
It is very clear that the officers instigated the confrontation. The woman initially tried to wave them past her.
ICE officers have no authority to search a US citizen or arrest her (unless there's probable cause to believe she's harboring undocumented individuals, not a contention here). A woman surrounded by masked, armed men who have no law enforcement authority over her has every right to try to escape. Video shows her steering wheel is turned to the right, clearly an attempt to leave WITHOUT hitting anyone and steer clear of the officer standing towards the front of her car. That officer had time to step to the side, which is where he was when he shot her.
Even a real police officer would not have the right to shoot at her for trying to flee. This is well-established in the case law; deadly force may not be used simply to prevent someone from getting away. Given that the ICE officers had no law enforcement authority to begin with, AND the video footage shows she was trying to escape a perceived threat, not to kill anyone, the crime is all the more inexcusable.
I'm praying for the victim's family, especially her children. I'm also praying for all the conservatives who are so unprincipled and lost they're excusing this terrible crime, and gloating over a death that will leave three young children motherless, because of the victim's politics.
Protestors set up a memorial for Renee Good, the mother of three and U.S. Citizen who was shot three times in the face by ICE.
ICE responded by stomping on the memorial candles.
