@CDevane89 Tried to defend for 40 minutes, rather than attacking their 2 CB’s on a yellow card. When England ran at them they looked uncomfortable and we took off our main player to do that. Tactics were awful from Tuchel. Argentina were there for the taking and we made them look amazing
@smcmenemy58@BarrowAFC Stanway for the goal, poor decision making from Gordon especially when he could have played Mahoney back in but didn’t even look. The entire team for lacking any sort of intensity after going behind
@BarrowAFC “Somehow” it was a much better performance but we could have played for another 90 minutes and not created a clear chance. Definitely something to build on but final ball was really lacking today
@DavidTaylor85@ZackPolanski How’s Libya looking since we helped liberate it? Nobody would deny the atrocities that Iran has perpetrated on its own people but let’s not pretend that’s why Trump and Israel have bombed them. Why do we always act like America’s little lap dogs? It’s pathetic
@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour Why do we constantly jump like lap dogs to whatever the US want. You’ve not learnt the mistakes from Iraq at all. It’s not defensive strikes at all, it’s offensive strikes that we’re now party to. Disgraceful that we let ourselves be walked over like this supporting warmongers
Pretty safe to say, that the club wouldn’t be in existence without him and even if it did survive, it wouldn’t be what it is now. We should be forever grateful for all that he did for the club. Rest easy Mr Chairman
Barrow AFC is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Life President, Brian Keen.
Brian spearheaded the consortium of local businessmen which saved the club from extinction back in 1999 and without their thankless efforts, we may not have a club today.
Brian was always a true gentleman who touched the lives of many here at Holker Street and he will certainly be missed by all of us here at Barrow AFC.
As a mark of respect, we’ll be hosting a minute's silence at tonight’s match and all of the players will be wearing black armbands.
All of the thoughts of everyone here at Barrow are with Brian’s family and friends at this difficult time.
Rest In Peace, Brian. 💙

@billybragg Whilst I can understand why people would, I and many people of my age/generation will never vote Lib Dem again after they got into bed with the Tories. Reneging on so much of their manifesto to get a little bit of power is something I can’t forget
