@mechanakamoto Buy every week and think in sats instead of fiat. When you see your numbers flying up, you’ll start to realise this is the real bull market. And when the price starts going up in fiat and you’re getting far fewer sats, that’s when it’ll start to feel like a bear market.
@simplybitcoin “She’ll be yanking out her own teeth soon, they’re that scarce. Maybe then she’ll finally understand supply and demand. As judging by those gnashers, there clearly wouldn’t be no demand.”
Buffett is the single-greatest asset allocator in the history of financial markets.
Yet when you tally up the score, all Buffett essentially did was match the performance of gold over the past 25 years.
@OnlyOnFilm @SocialistVoice@CharlotteCGill 😂 all good Rick, yea her response made me laugh “think she thought I had her back” apologise for the moron comment also. Take care
@BTC_for_Freedom every now and then, people try to spread fear or doubt about the Bitcoin protocol, but those concerns always end up being proven wrong. Then they just move on to the next thing to criticize.
Now put you PJ’s on and brush your teeth
@SocialistVoice@CharlotteCGill How can a country run out of money when they have a money printer 😂
They will just print more and water down the value of the £ creating further debt and higher interest on national debt for the tax payers which will create more inflation ensuring the poor get less for more
@thekevinquantum @TheCryptoLark Not semantics, Kevin. My original point was that gold is losing value to Bitcoin and BTC is closing the market cap gap rapidly.
You shifted the convo, but the math is simple: price × supply. Bitcoin catching up to gold is very real — and accelerating.
Appreciate the convo tho.
@thekevinquantum @TheCryptoLark Kevin, you can’t escape market cap math. If 1 BTC = 1 ton of gold, and there are ~19M BTC, that’s like 19M tons of gold. Market cap = price × supply, period. If BTC were priced like that, it would eclipse gold’s cap unless supply is destroyed — and you didn’t show that.
@thekevinquantum @TheCryptoLark What are you talking about If 1 Bitcoin was worth a ton of gold, 1 BTC would be worth about $74 million per coin. With a market cap of 1.55 quadrillion which is 70x bigger than golds market cap
@thekevinquantum @TheCryptoLark It took gold over 5,000 years to reach its market cap.
Bitcoin has achieved 10% of that in just 16 years.
There was a time you could buy 1 BTC for the price of 1 gram of gold…
Then it took an ounce…
Then a kilo…
Soon, it’ll take 12.5 kilograms of gold to buy just 1 Bitcoin.
