Some of the dialogue in Christopher Nolan's Odyssey is a little jarring and un-Homeric for example when Calypso tells Odysseus that he's been on her island seven years and he says 'Surely I haven't been here that long?' and she replies 'Yes you have and don't call me Shirley'..
