@Duckimusprime@hasumpstuffedup The mark was set in the wrong spot the umpire didn’t line up Watson, the defender and the goal properly the umpire basically set him up to go to the right if he wanted to move in a straight line
@CalTwomey@traderadio@AFLcomau Let’s stop calling pick 20, pick 20 and pick 30 after Tassie 1st rounders. You wouldn’t trade that for a pick 5 in a draft and no way Carlton take the offer
@hasumpstuffedup Why call that one out and not the soft free to Long when he was the one holding Scrimshaw? That basically won them the game in the end
@1116sen@WhateleySEN He went low and was side on and went for the ball - exactly as instructed, as where the other player went front on not side on and put himself in danger. I’m a hawk fan by the way and couldn’t care less about Butters.
@piesource1 Nor the skills of Huswaite or the runs on the board that Worpel has. At the end of the day Stephens had a contract and Long didn’t and list spots were tight so it was the right decision to let him go.
@piesource1 Whilst this is true to an extent, if Hawks wanted to keep him enough, they would have. There is already a very tall midfield at Hawthorn, and he doesn’t have the contested game at Newcombe’s level, the vision and skill of Day, Ward, McKenzie, the size, speed and strength of Nash.
@1116sen We are 6 wins and 6 losses with a percentage just over 100 in our last 12 games surely Power Rankings reward current form, otherwise we may as well refer to the AFL ladder
