This is an independent initiative that aims at raising awareness/recognition of the Muslim genocide committed by Dogra ruler Hari Singh between Oct-Nov 1947 in Jammu region.
Collecting direct accounts & stories of genocide passed on by the victims who never received any justice.

Maharaja Hari Singh's involvement, with the support of the RSS, is evident from a letter Jawaharlal Nehru wrote to Vallabhbhai Patel on 17 April,1949 (Frontline magazine):
"A reference was made to a growing Hindu agitation in Jammu province for what is called a zonal plebiscite.
Story of Khawaja Muhammad Yahya Butt:
Muhammad Yahya Butt was born in Samba, Jammu, Kashmir in 1930. He recalls that Samba was composed of several small mohallas and that his mohalla had five houses in total. He says that the residents belonged to a diverse range of communities.

Refers to killings of Jammu Muslims living in the Dogra State of J&k from Oct 1947 through Nov 1947. At least 200k & possibly as many as 250k died during the genocide, either in massacres, or after kidnapping & illness in refugee camps.

The Maharaja of Kashmir is responsible for what is happening there… A large number of Muslims have been killed there and Muslim women have been dishonored."

Muslims who died in or en route to the regions of the Pubjab, Pakistan. In addition, tens of thousands of Jammu women & children were kidnapped.

Muhammad Yahya Butt was born in Samba, Jammu, Kashmir in 1930. He recalls that Samba was composed of several small mohallas and that his mohalla had five houses in total. He says that the residents belonged to a diverse range of communities.
He shares that he then started building his life in Lahore and matriculated there. Mr.Butt remembers how positive and passionate his father was about Pakistan. Mr. Butt reflects that he can never think of visiting Samba again because the trauma he faced remains fresh in his mind.
Further, that the large sums collected for the Dharmarth Fund, which are controlled by the Maharaja, are being spent in propaganda for him."
Proper planning, training & state propoganda went into making the unthinkable possible in Jammu.

This propaganda for a zonal plebiscite is going on in Jammu, in Delhi and elsewhere. It is carried on by what is known as the Jammu Praja Parishad. Our intelligence officer reported that this Praja Parishad is financed by the Maharaja.
