Should the absence of a complaint outweigh forensic evidence and the search for truth?

The Haffkine Corporation inquiry committee’s decision on the forged signature of an IAS officer raises serious concerns.

Despite a forensic report clearly showing a signature mismatch, the committee closed the case without verifying original records, file movement, approval process, or conducting any independent probe, only because the officer concerned had not filed a complaint.

How would he even know his signatures were forged after leaving the office?

This looks like officers protecting fellow officers.

An independent & impartial investigation is essential for transparency and accountability.
