Yeah… this is why La Liga should never be taken seriously.

Rodri couldn’t believe what he was witnessing in that league. In the Premier League, he would have to cover huge distances against elite athletes, go into duels with some of the strongest players in the world, and defend for the entire 90 minutes.

But in La Liga, all he had to do was stay around the halfway line without sprinting for 90 minutes, playing against some of the weakest players in Europe.

This is not a serious league.

La Liga is genuinely one of the weakest of the top five European leagues.

The performances and stats of players like Yamal, Raphinha and Mbappé should receive the same tax as Kane and Olise in the Bundesliga.
