I‘m sorry things are so rough. I can only imagine how exhausting and tiring all things you have to deal with are.
Still you at least to me seem to have that bouncy positive energy when you make your clips and tiktoks, and that’s the big inspiration to me!
Ich war ein seltsames Kind. Ihr wisst schon, eines von denen, bei denen Lehrer irgendwann einfach kapitulieren. Meine Matheschularbeiten gab ich nach zwei Minuten ab. Und obwohl alle Ergebnisse richtig waren, bekam ich ein Nicht genügend. Der Rechenweg fehlte. Bei der Deutschschularbeit hieß es, wir sollen zwei Seiten schreiben. Ich schrieb elf. Nicht genügend, denn elf Seiten wollte niemand lesen. Am Abend saß ich dann am Klavier, um mich von dem ganzen Geschrei daheim abzulenken. Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninow, ich spielte sie aus dem Kopf. Im Musikunterricht bekam ich trotzdem ein Nicht genügend, weil ich keine Noten lesen konnte. Das kann ich bis heute nicht.
Damals interessierte sich niemand dafür, was du konntest oder ob du talentiert warst. Oder ob du Probleme zuhause hattest. Entscheidend war nur, ob du es auf die Weise konntest, die von dir erwartet wurde. Man nannte das Bildung. Heute nennen wir es Fortschritt. Wir sind noch immer erstaunlich gut darin, Menschen dafür zu bestrafen, dass sie nicht in das Format passen, das wir für sie vorgesehen haben.
Ich frage mich manchmal, wie viele vor mir dasselbe erlebt haben. Und wie viele danach. Die meisten Talente scheitern nicht daran, dass sie fehlen. Sie scheitern daran, dass sie an der falschen Stelle auftauchen.
