@josip1169847 We are talking past each other, I’m saying the Dinaric cluster is separate from the pannonian one, and both are Croats. If you take exclusively Zagorje samples, they come out almost identical to Slovenes and Hungarians, not just close, likewise for Dalmatian samples to B&H.

@josip1169847 Why the cope, no country is fully genetically homogenous. History made so that modern Kajkavians and Slavonians turned Croatian over time, and their brothers who lived a little to the left or north turned into Austrians Hungarians and Slovenes. It’s not shameful.

@josip1169847 People from the Dinaric belt: Lika Dalmatia Herzegovina Central Bosnia Western Serbia and Montenegro are phenotypicially, genotipically, linguistically and historically distinct from the Slavs that form the base genetic layer of Slovenia Slavonia Austria Hungary.
