I am inconsolable as someone who has been a fan of Lara ever since I was born basically.

Ideally, I would love for them to swear off ever using genAI assisted ANYTHING in the future. But Amazon has their grubby greedy sticky fingers all over my favorite franchise.

I wish we could go back in time where ai generated images never existed. I miss being able to like any artwork or post that I see, without worrying if it's ai or not. I miss it so much.

@OttoBerlandieri I just fear buying it sends the wrong message. Ill never judge someone for doing that, because I am awfully tempted. But its hard. People are going to buy and enjoy it, i have no doubt this is an amazing game and experience.

It's just going to lead to more normalizing genai.

@RedMercuryEXE I hope so too... I want to experience this game myself and not through others. I want to get the collectors edition, pre-order it and everything.. Just miserable that I can't be excited anymore. Ffxiv might be heading down this path too and it makes me just miserable.
