Had my first tank aced. Glad to report that it was the excellent Strv m/39. One of my favorite light tanks in the game. Not as good as the A13 Mk I, all things considered, but still a potent threat on the battlefield. Speed, gun depression, and some good shells. #WarThunder#PS5
Today is Sweden's general election. I voted for the Sweden Democrats on all three ballots. Praying that God preserves what is good, removes what is harmful, corrects our course, and opens people’s minds. God bless all forms of intelligence. #Svpol#Val2026#SwedenDemocrats
I've mostly abandoned the idea of a fractured Europe and am now looking towards unifying it beyond the European Union. One of the driving forces behind that is partly Russia's war against Ukraine, but also the ambitions of Trump and now Milei. They want us to be weak.
Argentina cannot be trusted from a British perspective whatsoever. Treating the Falklands as belonging to Argentina ignores the long British administration and the wishes of the people. Historical revisionism coupled with a victimhood complex is always a dangerous combination.
The Arborean Hero trophy from TERA is my third platinum ever. I was undergeared and couldn’t pass the damage check, so I struggled for 30 minutes with each of the two hardest world bosses. Someone helped me finish the third one. Food and potion buffs did the trick. #PS5#TERA
A much more serious problem is that many Protestants aren’t keen on keeping the Church grounded in Scripture. Many major Reformers were adamant about this. The Bible is our lantern through the night, and it should show us the way when we need it most. #Christianity#Protestantism
The best thing about Protestantism is how it condenses the heart of the Christian faith. Still, the abandonment of religious art and chants (so common in other denominations) is something we should bring back. We’re missing out unnecessarily. #Christianity#Protestantism
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered has been completed on Veteran difficulty. The Favela section was especially tough, but with time and patience I made it through. One thing that surprised me is how detailed some of the environments are. #CallofDuty#PS4
Just beat Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. Out of all the 90s mascots and characters made during the big 3D boom, Klonoa is easily one of my favorites. I love how innocent and childlike he is, and the relationship between him and Huepow really drove that point home. #Klonoa#PS5
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc has been cleared. Some of the game mechanics felt a bit undercooked, but the twists and turns, the mystery behind the killing game, and the escalation toward the climax were positively exhilarating. #PS4
My excitement for PlayStation’s future has greatly diminished. As a game collector, today’s news that physical disc production ends in January 2028 feels like the end of an era. I’ll still keep collecting what came before, though. That won’t change. #PlayStation#Sony
I had a surreal moment this morning. My mother called, but I didn't pick up and fell back asleep. I dreamed I was back in my parents' home with my phone ringing. She complained that I wasn't answering. Then I woke up from the dream to her calling me again. #Dream#DreamLog
When I think back on Empire of Dust, the sight of people waiting desperately outside the compound still hurts. In the First World we’ve digitized job hunting, but the reality is the same. People are stuck outside, hoping to get in, clutching the fence between despair and hope.
Finished the Trigun Omnibus today. It contains the first two volumes plus the pilot episode. The panel flow felt a bit off and the translation sometimes made it hard to tell what they were trying to say. That said, the art is superb and I loved the characters. #Trigun#Manga
It also doesn't help Angrboda's case that the developers made her non-Nordic. From what I remember, my playthrough never explained her background, and Atreus doesn't even react to it, even though the Norse setting demands one.
Over time, I've become more critical of the Atreus and Angrboda sections in God of War Ragnarök. For the most part, they felt unnecessary and tacked on. There were better ways to explore their relationship, but the game missed the mark. Angrboda in particular felt unremarkable.
I watched the documentary Empire of Dust. It shows the challenges of building a road in Congo and the cultural clash between Chinese and Congolese workers. Their different work ethics turn the story into a tale of frustration and hopelessness. #Documentary
Why is Christianity so tolerant of secularism when it’s in direct opposition to its core beliefs? The idea that all religions deserve equal treatment has nothing to do with the exclusive truth claims we Christians affirm. I see no reason to support religious neutrality.
Abortion, no matter the reason, is a sin. That's what the foundation of Christianity teaches, and I can't in good conscience deny that anymore. I used to make exceptions, but my position has now been corrected. #Christianity#Abortion
The other day, a bomb exploded in another part of the city I live in, and the shockwave reached all the way to my apartment. Given the particular sound as well, I knew exactly what it was before reading the news about it. The motive is speculated to be about extortion.
