@ObsvRetardation Also LLY reports some numbers worldwide incl. countries where NVO hasnt launched yet. So its fair to talk about oral market as worldwide market.
@ObsvRetardation You follow Eli Lilly more closely, if you disagree with my number, you should have rough estimate of your own. With NVO it was done comparing real numbers to iqvia report. I think the same was done with Foundayo and these numbers should confirm it.
@ObsvRetardation Roughly around 60% for wegovy and 90% for foundayo. And i dont think its weird to include countries where Foundayo hasnt launched yet... it only shows how wegovy is ahead. If he talks about oral market then including worldwide prescriptions is fair game
@Aktieland NVO just needs to prove they are ready to cook something following the semaglutide. Otherwise its great company in great shape and i think that with these hardships they got back to competetive mode. Lets just hope they do some good M&A decisions/move towards other molecules.
@ResearchPulse1 So the absolute volume growth was about 2k wegovy and 1.4k Foundayo... thats good... more data on all of the franchise will be after IQVIA data later?
@Aktieland Yesterday the stock initialy headed down just to correct course in the evening... today looks very much the same. There was alot of shorting so we should have some more buying pressure from buybacks and closing shorts
@investseekers Kinda offtopic, but there is another case of liver issue with Founday - reported on friday flagged as serious. On top of intestinal obstruction the patient had increase in AST and ALT. Beside this case there seem to be 2 other liver issue cases already (one liver failure)
@Sopcaja@HatedMoats To the risk of repeating myself again, wegovy pill has shown much better launch numbers and dynamic than current blockbuster injectbles. Saying that this is rounding error and winner in oral doesnt matter is delusional. Lets revisit your thesis in a year or two...
@Sopcaja@HatedMoats their injectable pipeline can catch up with UBT and NN in development to grab back injectable market share. Reta so far seems to crush weight loss but with significant side effects so it will be most likely a niche drug eather than new reta or sema.
@Sopcaja@HatedMoats Try comparing wegovy oral frist 2 two quarters to tzp 😃 mounjarno did like $ 190 mil and zepbound did around $ 700 mil which was before any pricing pressures... wegovy pill did $ 800 mil in much tougher conditions where there are also no shortages of injectables. Think again 😃
@PLHstock 1) drop was due to crazy amount of shorting rather than any objective reason 2) results were actualy good and should have sent the stock soaring 3) NVO is crazy indervalued now.
@JCanNuSH Look how inferior Foundayo is to wegovy pill and yet it has some sales and nets some profit... even if Cagrisema wont be the king, it is very close to number one... that means sales will go well. On the other hand there are some trials going on which could give it other use cases
@FepsteinBig@investseekers@TacticzH More upgrades will likely follow. Main star of the show should be Q3 where they will know how this year should end up. I think that Q2 will be conservative up and Q3 will be much bigger upgrade.
