Divorce is profoundly evil. Sometimes people do it. There’s more we could do to limit it. But in a fallen world, it will occur. Such is life. But to ask that we celebrate it? It’s simply beyond the pale.
Muniz deleted the bizarre video of him and his wife dancing to celebrate their divorce. But he reposted the same nauseous text.
This is the most offensive part of liberal “morality.” It’s not enough that we tolerate their sin and vice. They demand that we celebrate it.
JD Vance notices something hilariously ironic about those hideous “We believe” signs in people’s yards.
VANCE: “Those hideous signs in their yard that say, ‘In this house, we believe’… that sign is such a disgusting butchering of the Nicene Creed.”
[Michael Knowles bursts out laughing]
VANCE: “You realize, ‘Oh, my God,’ people still have this desire to profess very publicly and even do it in this kind of cadence that you see in the Nicene Creed. And of course, they do it in this very politically motivated way.”
Leftists mock religion, but they literally created their own. They just deleted the God part.
Vice President JD Vance tells Michael Knowles why he became Catholic:
"The idea that Christian doctrine was fundamentally founded on Jesus Christ and the Church beyond that... If it really is founded on Jesus Christ, it shouldn't change."
John Adams, writing to Abigail, about the Continental Congress' vote in favor of independence on July 2, 1776:
"The Second Day of July 1776, will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more. You will think me transported with Enthusiasm but I am not. -- I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure, that it will cost Us to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States. -- Yet through all the Gloom I can see the Rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the End is more than worth all the Means. And that Posterity will tryumph in that Days Transaction, even altho We should rue it, which I trust in God We shall not."
“Today we reaffirm Franklin Roosevelt’s commitment that Social Security must always provide a secure and stable base so that older Americans may live in dignity.” Ronald Reagan, 1983
Re-upping my view that America is neither an abstract, open-access “creed” nor a closed ethno-state. It is an actually existing family with both natural and adoptive children, all of whom owe a duty of filial piety to their ancestors (natural or legal) and to the particular traditions and history of that family. Happy 4th!
Statement on behalf of Charlie Kirk's immediate family, his parents Robert and Kathryn, his wife, Erika, and his sister, Mary:
Charlie was a beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and father. Every court proceeding serves as a painful reminder of his death and the loss that has irrevocably impacted our lives and the lives of his children.
We remain deeply grateful for the support, prayers, and kindness we have received. This outpouring has sustained us during the darkest days of our lives.
Out of respect for the judicial process, we will not be commenting further at this time. We ask for continued privacy as we navigate this process and immense grief.
This will be one of the most grueling and painful weeks since Charlie was publicly executed. The most unfair part is how little Erika can say in public as the process plays out while people chirp left and right.
Reminder: there are insane people on the Left who want us gone or dead. They will say and do the most disgusting things as we have seen. We need strong men and women to stand up for our Country, for Charlie and Justice in the case of his assassination.
Please pray for Charlie, his wife Erika, his two small children and his mom, dad and sister.
Please pray for the prosecutors, the judge, the judicial staff, the lawyers involved— that the outcome will be fitting to the heinous crime that took our brother from this earth.
Today starts a long process for Justice but there is no outcome good enough because Charlie is still gone. As we said right when he was murdered, we hope those who are different degrees of angry will turn that anger into positive action through November and save the country the way Charlie laid out for this year. The only way we win is if we bring more people to do good.
God Bless.
Erika Kirk is sitting next to Charlie Kirk's parents inside the Provo, UT court room for the preliminary hearing thats underway. Erika is wiping tears with a hankerchief and was seen leaning on Kirk's mother's shoulder, per our Fox reporter @OliviannaC inside the court room.
