Vi som var emot svenskt Nato-medlemskap sa att det finns ”långsiktiga” risker för ett litet land att låsa fast sig i en militär allians. Det är omöjligt att förutse hur världen utvecklas och då är det klokare att som vi framgångsrikt gjort i två hundra år navigera mellan stormaktsblocken.
Det enda vi hade fel om var att detta handlade om lång sikt. Det tog tre år för oss att få rätt.
Nu är det uppenbart ett säkerhetspolitiskt gigantiskt problem att vi låst oss i ett stormaktsblock som är beroende av USA och deras vettvilling till president.

Sveriges Radio bör skämmas
Den 25 november 2018 publicerade jag i Expressen debattartikeln, "Så infiltrerar islamister de svenska partierna" där jag, med stöd av dokument, redogjorde för hur Muslimska Brödraskapet infiltrerat Sverige.

Under 2013–2014 refererade Sveriges Radio till min avhandling på ett sätt som färgade den i negativa ordalag: den kallades kritiserad, kontroversiell, omdebatterad och omstridd. För några dagar sedan gjorde SR en reportage med rubriken "Så infiltrerar Muslimska Brödraskapet Sverige" – en titel som direkt återger mina tidigare iakttagelser, utan att erkänna att de förut förlöjligade samma tes.

Dessutom gav Sveriges Radio den 1 september 2023 ordföranden för Islamiska Förbundet i Sverige, Mahmoud Khalfi – en person jag anser vara en infiltratör – plats att kalla min forskning för konspirationsteorier utan att jag fick möjlighet att försvara mig.

Sveriges Radios ansvarige utgivare lovade mig att jag skulle få chansen att replikera senare, men det har inte skett. Nu använder SR själva mina termer och slutsatser utan att erkänna sitt tidiga förhållningssätt.

Jag har fått bekräftelse att jag inte blivit inbjuden till den expertgrupp som idag samlas på initiativ av integrationsminister @matsperspektiv för att diskutera Muslimska Brödraskapets infiltration i Sverige. Detta sker mot bakgrund av att Sverige nyligen i en fransk statlig rapport pekats ut som ett land som tolererar denna typ av infiltration.

Detta är särskilt anmärkningsvärt eftersom jag tidigare bjudits in av både Danmarks integrationsminister Kaare Dybvad och av Parisregionen för att delta i diskussioner om just detta ämne – under det gångna året.

Jag har svårt att förstå Mats Perssons beslut. Det riskerar att stärka de extremister som systematiskt och grundlöst har smutskastat både mig och min forskning. Det bidrar dessutom till missförstånd och öppnar upp för ogrundade spekulationer:
Ställer sig nu den svenska regeringen på extremisternas sida? Avser regeringen att ignorera min forskning, vrida tillbaka klockan och förneka de rön som dokumenterats?

En sak är jag – och många andra som följt mitt arbete – fast övertygad om: Sverige har inte råd att förhålla sig likgiltigt, vare sig till Muslimska Brödraskapets infiltration eller till en feg och eftergiven politik i denna fråga. En sådan hållning är inget mindre än ett svek mot det svenska samhället.

Jag står fortsatt till förfogande med min expertis – inte för att uppfinna hjulet på nytt, allt är redan kartlagt och dokumenterat i min forskning – utan för att bidra konkret till diskussionen om vilka åtgärder som krävs för att stoppa denna infiltration.

A bloodstain marks the murder scene of Olof Palme, Sweden’s prime minister.

Palme was shot in the back by an unknown assassin after leaving a movie theater with his wife on the night of February 28th, 1986, after giving his bodyguards the night off. The gunman also shot his wife Lisbeth, who was only grazed by the bullet and recovered quickly. The shooter disappeared into the night and his true identity is still hotly debated in Sweden to this day.

In the 1990s, Swedish journalist Stieg Larsson began looking into the murder and put together an enormous trove of evidence, leads, documents, and handwritten notes over the course of his investigation. But he passed away of a heart attack in 2004 before publishing his findings. Following his death, Larsson’s series of novels known as the Millenium Trilogy went on to become some of the world’s best-selling crime fiction, but his work on the Palme case remained dormant for many years.

Then in 2013, @JanStocklassa uncovered Larsson’s trove of evidence and reignited the investigation. For the next five years he worked to pull the leads together, which took him to North Cyprus, South Africa, and elsewhere. Along the way he uncovered the motives and international ties to Palme’s death, and the Swedish citizens who were involved, either as conspirators, or as fall guys.

Stocklassa eventually published his book The Man Who Played with Fire, which has now been adapted as a four-part miniseries by the Discovery Network and is currently streaming on several platforms.

For episode 155 of the Spycraft 101 podcast, I spoke with @JanStocklassa about the night of the prime minister’s death, his own findings after years of research, and the coverup that ensued at the highest levels of the Swedish government. The episode is available now.
