🚨 NEW: An English teacher at a 28k a year private girls’ school crowdfunded for “bottom surgery” in Thailand in during the summer.
And his headteacher's name appears to be amongst the donors.
He wrote about the experience for his Go Fund Me page - which remained live - until the school was approached for comment this afternoon.

There is no logical argument to “some men can be women” because literally the only prerequisite to be a “man claiming to be a woman” is be a man. Anyone advocating for some men to be women will never, ever, get past that.
When a man goes to his boss and says he now wishes to be addressed as she/her, why do employers apparently not spend a few minutes online doing some basic research?
Because pictures like these are often only a few clicks away, publicly available on personal social media.
These ones are actually pretty tame. But typically there are stockings, short skirts, high heels, fake breasts, glimpses of lacy underwear.
And the giveaway is that the look bears little resemblance to how most women actually dress. It is a caricature of over-sexualised femininity - more like something from a 1980s porn film.
If employers did their due diligence, they might realise that, in some cases, what they are being asked to affirm is not simply an identity but something with an overtly sexual or fetishistic element.
And by affirming it unquestioningly in the workplace, they may effectively be giving a male employee the green light to bring that fetish into work - while expecting colleagues to participate in it through language, pronouns and treatment.
Perhaps employers do look. Perhaps they simply fear the repercussions of refusing to affirm.
Either way, what a man does in his spare time is his own business.
But he does not have the right to bring a sexual fetish into the workplace and require his colleagues to participate in it.
And employers have a duty of care to protect staff from unacceptable behaviour in the workplace - something many seem to have forgotten.
A year ago today I held the hand of my beloved husband John as he took his final breath. It was very peaceful and quiet. He was in no pain. No panic.
He knew he was dying and he said he was not afraid. All he could think of was me: “Are you going to be all right?” Typical of my John. His last thought was for me.
“Make of our hands, one hand.
Make of our hearts, one heart.
Make of our vows one last vow
Even death won’t part us now.”
One Hand, One Heart, lyrics Stephen Sondheim, West Side Story, 1957
People tell me I’m strong. I’m not. John knew that. He knew, accepted and loved the real me. The flake I actually am. Never tried to chivvy me out of it.
I’d had eight long lonely years before I met John. And he too had had his dead years. That we ever met is a miracle. A tale for another time. But we found each other and for 36 years we healed each other’s wounds.
John bore his cruel Parkinson’s Disease with great stoicism. I’m trying to bear my grief in the same way.
Jewish tradition highly values acts of loving kindness. Known as a mitzvah. A very good friend is taking me out today so I won’t be alone. That is a mitzvah for which I am deeply grateful.
There is one act of loving kindness - one mitzvah - that supersedes all the others because it cannot be reciprocated.
Taking care of the dead is called the most genuine act of loving kindness. I feel very privileged I was able to do that for My John. It’s also made the grief so much easier for me to bear.
“Fly on my sweet angel
Fly on through the sky
Fly on my sweet angel
Forever I will be by your side.”
Angel, Jimi Hendrix.1970.
The Conversion Bill is a con. It will decimate families for using the "wrong" pronouns or "deadnames" and it will (perhaps unintentionally) make gays/lesbians second class victims of crime.
Can confirm I have interviewed the founder of Reality Rules Runners UK for the Mail of Sunday on the telephone.
He has chosen to keep his identity private - due to previous issues arising from his expression of lawful, gender critical beliefs. Which is, it itself, significant.
I have met and spoken to both Mara and Claire in person and can confirm they are not the same person as the RRR founder (unless they have a unique and hidden talent for putting on male voices).
Additionally, even when quoted sources are anonymous, the need for legal checks (including providing evidence) does not disappear.
So sorry to disappoint!
Anonymous Man on reporting duty!
(Not) sorry to disappoint those who think I’m made up or Claire / Mara.
I am a real human being of the male sex! Why bother making it up? Also you think @jan_murray / @DailyMail don’t check facts?

Dear @PompeySteph: Parents discussing with their children the biological impossibility of being born "in the wrong body" is no more "conversion therapy" than is discussing with their children that they do not have superhero powers that allow them to jump off buildings and fly.
Someone just pointed out that a year’s fees at Headington School are more than twice the cost of the ‘bottom surgery’ in Thailand that one of its teachers was crowdfunding for.
Quite the comparison. 🤔
Well spotted! Thing is … everyone knows you can’t change sex.
But not everyone knows that ‘gender affirmation surgery’ can involve the amputation of the penis.
‘Sex change’ op is far more likely to get people to read far enough to discover what these procedures actually involve.
Which is rather the point.

@jan_murray Imagine being a child at this school.
You’d be forced to call the man ‘Miss’ just because he’d had hole created in his nether regions. A hole with no other use than for penetration.
Children deserve better.
This is horrifying. Why is the Headteacher of Headington School in Oxford giving money to this man for SRS? Why is he making others pay for it when his own savings wd cover it? And sightseeing in Bangkok?!!!
Does he use F toilets? Make everyone call him she, her & miss? 👎
A man who stands who in front of classrooms full of teenage girls, as their teacher, and tells them he is a woman is not 'just going about his life.'
Same goes for a male teacher who publicly asks for donations so he can travel to Thailand and have his p*nis removed.
That this has to be explained to adults ... 🙄
