My Gaza family has been displaced yet again. 10 days ago, their area of Deir el Balah received an evacuation order, so they left their school building to crowd into my sister Safia’s burned and damaged apartment in Khan Younis.

My nephew Adam turned 1 year old yesterday. For most of his life, he has been living in a war zone, displaced in a school building in Deir el Balah. While this war has started to drop off the news headlines, please keep thinking of the children of Gaza.
