@BeschlossDC One of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen.

[VicLitFlix @JanakSuzanne]

@nCornick Don’t disparage The Tingler! Someday you may be so terrified you can’t scream, and The Tingler will crush your spinal column. So there.

[VicLitFlix @JanakSuzanne]

I'm off to see a musical version of Jane's take off on gothic novels. I'm not sure about adding music. We will see.

Anton Yelchin has died. No one is mentioning his performance in Hearts in Atlantis. He was mesmerizing, so beautiful, great talent.

[VicLitFlix @JanakSuzanne]

Happy 200th Birthday to Charlotte Bronte! Jane Eyre, her masterpiece, was so great Thackeray stayed up all night reading it.

[VicLitFlix @JanakSuzanne]

Does it get any better than this...a Charles Dickens charm bracelet!

[VicLitFlix @JanakSuzanne]

Gothic humor, a la Emily Bronte:
"Like him!" I exclaimed! "The worst- tempered bit of a sickly slip that ever struggled into his teens!"

[VicLitFlix @JanakSuzanne]

@nCornick How ghastly! It's times like these I wish I had died of Brain Fever reclining on a chaise lounge before baseball was invented.

[VicLitFlix @JanakSuzanne]

Victorian trifecta...poet laureate likened to Heathcliff, suicidal poetess and the setting of Wuthering Heights.
