We need to stop saying “Everything happens for a reason” without naming the reasons which are often capitalism, racism, abusers, toxic religious beliefs. The reasons are often tied to another layer of those who are hurting, experiencing further hurt. If there’s a reason, name it.

A @cvspharmacy customer decided to harass my 8 year-old child while we waited for his first COVID-19 vaccine dose. She thought he should offer her his chair and spot in line.

No support from CVS staff to stop the harassment + I was then mocked by staff for defending my child.
