@JaneAlden5 I doubt any star, other than our own, is bright enough to be refracted without the aid of a large telescope or something like it. But, I'm not an expert on the subject.
My heart goes out to you. Had to make this decision about a year ago with our 15-year-old chocolate lab. We are just now at a place to get another puppy. Coming home with us in two weeks. So sorry for your loss.
