Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸

Moment when neighbors throw a get together to celebrate Greg, their beloved long time UPS driver. Greg is known as always going above and beyond for everyone on his route. So the neighborhood came together to surprise him and show their gratitude or all he does.
A 79-year-old grandmother was preparing for her vacation flight, never imagining that her granddaughter was the pilot flying the plane.
The surprise came just before boarding, making it such a beautiful and emotional moment 🥹❤️
That's us! 🌍
The Artemis II crew captured beautiful, high-resolution images of our home planet during their journey to the Moon. As @Astro_Christina put it: "You guys look great."
NASA pilot Victor Glover CLAPS back after being asked what it means to be the first black man to visit the moon: “It’s the story of humanity, not black history, not women’s history, but that it becomes human history.”
“I also HOPE we are pushing the other direction that one day we don’t have to talk about these first. That one day, this is just—and listen to this—that this is the human history.”
"Please keep the brave Airmen, their families, friends, and units in your thoughts in the coming hours and days. Our service members make an incredible sacrifice to go froward and do the things that the nation asks of them." 🙏🇺

The media is going apeshit over the cost of ($22M) dollars, but they're ok with ($18B) of Somali fraud in Minnesota

My heart breaks for Rondale Moore and his family. I hate suicide because I know it’s more than a mental battle. It’s a spiritual battle and there is an evil in this world that seeks to steal the future of men and women of all ages. Rondale would not choose to have those negative thoughts in his head. They showed up and sadly he believed the lies they spoke to him. Remember you are not the thoughts you think. You are the thoughts you believe. I say this to anyone struggling with depression, discouragement and doubt. Don’t believe these lies. You’re not broken. There’s nothing wrong with you. You don’t need to be fixed. You are just in battle between good and evil and your mind is the battleground. You need to learn the truth to win the battle. Every hero in every epic movie must battle a villain and so will you in this life. Your future is filled with hope. You are loved. Faith gives you strength.
