Announced today in the Government’s Powering Up Britain Paper, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme has been extended from 2025 to 2028 🎉

The scheme can provide consumers in England and Wales with up to £5,000 towards a heat pump.

Analysis: The UK is now halfway to its ‘net-zero emissions’ target, after a record-breaking 11% decline in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The fall means the UK’s domestic greenhouse gas emissions are now 51% below 1990 levels.
