@imperialist_dog@Grobbyson@OldRoberts953 I didn’t want to go to boarding school because I loved my parents and my friends and didn’t want to be parted from them. Obviously your comprehensive school education didn’t include the importance of apologizing to somebody for wrongly accusing them of being a liar.
@imperialist_dog@Grobbyson@OldRoberts953 “In the 1950s, passing the 11-plus often was the scholarship or "free place" that granted entry to a grammar school (which were like public schools but state-funded) or sometimes even a specific private school scholarship, especially for brighter working-class children.”
@Grobbyson@imperialist_dog@OldRoberts953 I really don’t care about you or your opinions. I know I am right and so do my family that’s all that matters. I would guess that you were one of the school bullies judging by your performance.
@Grobbyson@imperialist_dog@OldRoberts953 I have all the arguments I need, I know what happened in my life and if I cared I could give her dates and names and she could check the records.
@imperialist_dog@Grobbyson@OldRoberts953 I don’t care whether you believe me or not I took the 11 plus and as a result I was offered a scholarship at Dame Alice Otley School in Worcester. I chose to go to my local grammar school instead.

@Grobbyson@OldRoberts953 No it’s all about fairness, I could have gone to public school after I passed my 11 plus but chose not to. I didn’t aspire to the life of those people knowing what they were like.
