It has been an honor to serve on the Lincoln City Council and the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners. Now, I feel that my path is leading me to the Legislature, where I can bring my experience with local government to focus on state-level policies that impact us all.
On Jan 24th, I filed a conflict of interest related to LBs 327 and 15. The complaint against Senator Hunt is entirely baseless, and I was proud to join our colleagues in support of her.
#Nebraska lawmakers defended State Sen. Megan Hunt on Wednesday after allegation of a conflict of interest on transgender care bill.

The 108th Legislature was just sworn in by Chief Justice Heavican. I am truly honored to represent the people of District 28. Congratulations to my fellow members of the 2023 Class. #neleg
Very honored to earn the endorsement of the @JournalStarNews “The Lincoln City Council member and businesswoman would bring her fact-based business experience and her work on the council to the Legislature.”

It’s a beautiful morning in LD 28 to march for Women’s Rights! Our rights are on the ballot this November and it’s never been more important to get out and #vote! #WomensRights
We have a new City flag! Congratulations on the winning design, Ed. I look forward to seeing Lincoln’s beautiful new banner flying high across the city, reminding residents and visitors that all are welcome here. #LNK
Today I officially filed as a candidate for Legislative District 28. I am so excited to be on this journey and look forward to the road ahead! #neleg#Nebraska
@sillydillybar LD 28, seat is currently held by my good friend, Sen. Patty Pansing Brooks, who is term-limited at the end of 2022. We are fortunate to have Sen. Wishart for a few more years!

We have energized new voters across Nebraska looking at the numbers of ballots cast today and still coming in and all the early voting. And, tens of thousands of new Nebraskans are exercising their voice. We will build upon this and keep fighting.
This was a hard fought campaign. And we came up a little short this time around. But even in defeat, we have left a mark. We have moved the dial for our state.
I've been hearing reports of huge voter turnout all across the state today, and the final results could be decided by you in these last minutes. As long as you're in line before polls close, you'll be allowed to vote.
I hear there are tremendous numbers turning out today. I’m so grateful to the young people who have helped propel our campaign. Anyone out there a first-time voter today?! #nesen
We’ve come so incredibly far in this campaign. If you’re in line at 8pm, STAY IN LINE. If you haven’t turned in your mail-in ballot, get it to a drop box tonight. And if you’re helping call out the vote - KEEP GOING! We are incredibly close. #nesen
