@SarahBethBoss12 I care! I care a lot! I cried! My family took a New England trip in the late 1950s or early 1960s, when I was a preteen, and the Old Man made a deep impression on me. (I'm originally from Illinois.) I loved New Hampshire and Vermont--so pretty.

@CSLewisDaily If Israel's parents had been followers of any other religion Katy would have been slammed for this, maybe even canceled. To be fair, it seems she was mocking strict religious parenting, not Christianity per se. But it was quite inappropriate in the context.
