Education Catch 22:

My middle schoolers don’t have a phone they can take out of the house.

Teachers aren’t fans of phones at their school.

And…

Students are responsible for taking screen shots of important information to share with parents.

So my kids tell me nothing.

In 2004, 19 y/o us drove cross country to see the @F1 Indy GP.

~20 years later, we walked 2 miles to the first @F1LasVegas in our hometown.

A wish we’ve been dreaming about every Sunday for decades but never thought would come true.

And it was even better than we imagined.

@JacobsVegasLife Unpopular opinion, but walkways where pedestrians are visible is a safety hazard for the drivers on a stretch where they’ll be going 200+ mph. Also, walkways w/o reinforced walls could be a safety hazard for pedestrians if there’s a catastrophic event/crash w/ airborn debris.
