Some schools across the state are enjoying a long weekend as winter is gearing up. Other schools are back in session but superintendents keeping an eye on the weather, to ensure kids can get to and from school safely.

One woman, June Bass, 73, has been standing in line to get on a shuttle since 10 a.m. The bus driver kindly let her on to sit down, with her luggage acting as a chair. She’s on her way to Oklahoma City.
