Numbers are not everything but for a new program I am starting I had to get on the scale. Heaviest I have been in 20 years. I usually justify it with strongest as well because that is true but 3 years ago I was the lightest AND strongest I had been in 20 years so… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Declan and Callum both ran in their first mountain trail race in Blairmore called Sole Survivor. Callum was 2nd in his age group in the 2.5km and Declan not only won the 12 and under category in the 5km but won the entire 5km race. They won some beautiful pottery and prizes!

Declan ran the Harlan Taylor 5km in Raymond and won the 12 and under category with a time of 23:20.
Callum ran the 2km and had a blast.
Fun little run to start the summer!!!

My little 9 yr old amazes me. He had a pretty bad fall at the beginning of his race tonight and got up with tears in his eyes, covered in battle wounds and still ran his 2km race in a personal best time of 8:39. My little man truly is one of a kind and I could not be prouder.

This little man won his age category in the LCI donut dash and ran a 13:33 3km run at 4:30/km.pace. I love how much he loves to run!

@alicekeeler I agree as long as the retest is a different test. I know many teachers who will give the same test which doesn't test knowledge, but rather has students memorize answers for a test. In order for retests to be replacing a grade it needs to be an assessment with new questions.
