After taking bronze in the 5,000m and 10,000m on the track, Sifan Hassan comes out and wins GOLD in the women's marathon in 2:22:55 -- a new Olympic record.

She showed off her track speed and sprinted past world record holder Tigst Assefa 🇪🇹 in the final homestretch.

Easily one of the greatest feats in distance running of all-time.

Assefa takes silver in 2:22:58 and Boston Marathon champion Hellen Obiri 🇰🇪 grabs bronze in 2:23:10.
