@messycables1 @ProfPCDoherty The teals are in a way, even less accountable because they are not party of an organised institution that concentrates rank and file ideas and aspirations. It seems to work in a wealthy electorate like Kooyong. Very different in the big outside world.
@ProfPCDoherty Coalition governments, as we see in Europe, are even more unstable, and the backroom dealing is corrupting. It is not a recipe for political reform. History shows that. Surely the upper house diversity is more than enough?

@redrabbleroz Spot on Osmond. Govts need to subsidise the making of EVs to get it all started, and indeed China is doing that. This is so selfish and short-sighted.
@KosSamaras Spot on Kos. Have just worked through Vic voting by booth. It is a class vote from top to bottom, and we got it wrong. The misinformation came from us as well as the Trumpists. A middle class Labor party is as cloth eared as the Greens.
