@ReadingHosp in ER all day Sat 4 a chronic pain condition disability. No food or drink for 10hrs, no helpful info, & admonished by ER doc 2x accusing me of claims I never made infront of my daughter1st time & 2nd in front of a nurse. Wouldn't take a dog there 2b put down there!

@nyrodriguez_ It's so true. When I was younger I didn't know any better. I thought the way I felt was the misery everyone experienced so I sucked it up and kept my symptoms to myself. Now, with my daugher and neices I advocate that they talk to a GYN from go and use me as a resource.

Feels like I walk a tightrope in terms of talking about & advocating for proper care & a cure for #endometriosis. I want people - young girls & men in particular - to get the severity but don't want to come off as a #FemiNazi . Thoughts???

My doc wrote for #Lyrica (not an (opiod & helps my pain) & insurance won't cover it as it's off label. She also wrote for #Percocet and my insurance denied that too saying it was "not medically necessary" even though I've been in the ER 2x in the last 6 months for agonizing pain!

Painful menstrual cycles w pelvic pain go hand in hand. Painful periods w severe pelvic pain that affects your daily activities, work, school, kids, relationships etc. or if you’ve always had period issues since day 1, its NOT normal.

I came to terms thst I cant out wait the govt financially for #disability so I am throwing in the towel and back on the job hunt. So weird that there's a medication that cures #ErectileDysfunction which doesn't require surgery but #endometriosis - NADA

@lenadunham I read about ur #endometriosis & hysterectomy. I cried. It's me. With double digit surgeries, meds, resulting scar tissue, chronic pain & nerve damage I'm seeking disabiliy. Despite this, #endo isn't considered a disability, Thank you for bravely sharing your story.
