COMPLIANCE OFFICER*
📍 Location: Ikota/VGC, Lagos
💰 *Salary: ₦200,000*
We are looking for a *Male* diligent and experienced Compliance Officer to join our Human Resources Development team. The ideal candidate will ensure the organisation fully complies with applicable Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, internal HR policies, and relevant hospitality industry standards, while supporting a culture of integrity and ethical practice.
*REQUIREMENTS*
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, HR Compliance Officer, or in a similar compliance/HR role (preferably within a hotel, lounge, restaurant, or hospitality business).
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, workplace policies, and compliance processes.
Ability to develop, implement, and monitor compliance programmes and policies.
Excellent skills in conducting audits, risk assessments, investigations, and maintaining accurate compliance records.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR/compliance record-keeping systems.
Strong attention to detail, integrity, communication, and organisational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Ensure organisational compliance with Nigerian labour laws, employment standards, and internal HR policies.
Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures under Human Resources Development.
Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and staff training on policies, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and compliance reports.
Investigate compliance breaches or policy violations and recommend corrective actions.
Support management in ensuring all HR practices align with approved standards, budgets, and operational needs.
Maintain positive relationships with internal teams and relevant regulatory stakeholders.
