Do you feel unable to share your faith? Are you afraid you can’t answer people’s questions? Then come study the book of Romans. Paul answers almost every faith question in his letter. None of us are able to be missionaries apart from his Spirit.

A. W. Tozer said it well: “God has not surrendered his authority.” I am unashamed of the gospel message. I will not surrender God’s authoritative word to cultural opinions.

I am privileged to teach Paul’s masterpiece, the book of Romans this year. I can honestly say that if you will study his letter, you will know what to believe and why to believe it.

When the world seems chaotic, remember that Scripture promised “the night is coming” One day the morning will come and one day I will live forever on the mountaintop with the Lord. The chaos in the world is real, but God’s peace and love are real as well.

This world will always be “mixed up.” Truth isn’t found on the evening news because that isn’t where truth is valued—or defined.

I am called to stay behind God’s Spirit and never forget that it isn’t people I need to fight; it is the same “spiritual forces of evil” that Paul had to fight too. So, to all those on the frontlines of faith, I encourage you to work hard at discerning our real enemy.
I think one of the great lies Satan likes to use when tempting God’s people is to convince us we need to relax, when what we most need is to be restored.
The purpose of the Sabbath rest was so that people would focus on God.
Be glad today that the Lord saved your soul and wants to bless and enrich your life with his joy. “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).
Like Jeremiah, we bear God’s name too. The question for all of us today is this: Do we also share Jeremiah’s priority?
Do we simply read God’s word, or do we consume it as our joy and our delight? Is God’s word truly our daily bread?

We cannot change truth. God’s word is like the ocean. It will remain long after our opinions are silenced. God’s truth endures. Will you choose to hold fast to the unchanging message of his truth? Will you hold fast to your God whose message is revealed on each page of the Bible?
It’s normal to want God in the storms of life. It is a spiritual discipline to want God involved in every moment. Will you listen to his whispered messages today? Reach for your Bible and listen to him whisper those words. God goes where he is wanted.
We have been given one life, but it is all we need if it is eternal. I’m so glad I exchanged my old ’67 Chevy for something better. I’m glad I exchanged my old life for something better as well.
