God has tried for Nigeria abeg 😂. Natural resources, oil, gas, fertile land, a huge youthful population, no hurricanes, no earthquakes, no blizzards. We got almost every advantage and still managed to turn abundance into poverty.
na we be the problem.
Nigeria doesn't lack hardworking people; we lack a system that makes hard work feel rewarding.
People are waking up every day to rising costs, struggling businesses, unemployment, and uncertainty—yet we're still told to keep enduring.
We deserve leadership that listens, works, and delivers.
Let me pray this for someone out there. It’s not for everyone. “Very soon, those who did not believe in you, and looked down on you, will look up to you.” And when that time comes, instead of paying them back, you will do them good and show mercy”
Do your work for the value of the work itself.
Not for the cash or for the congratulations or for the temporary security it fills you with but for what the doing of your art makes you into, and causes you to feel - and fulfills within your soul.
I’m an immigrant child raised in 80’s Britain, I know embarrassment well but I’m also very delusional and confident so I will try things I believe I can master.
You should too 💡
