We don’t have the luxury of 24 hour vets here. Getting the operation done was hard enough. He was still asleep when he came home. He is with me in Tina’s old bed. He was shaking, very cold and not looking great at first (3/5)
I challenge you to watch this and not beam with happiness.
A lovely lady called Zoe wanted to get Tina some bandanas made at the tailors. I think you’ll agree she looks spectacular 🥰🥰🥰
Whacker is front and center on my book coming out in 2 months time. He even has a whole chapter dedicated to him.
You can pre-order it here https://t.co/YkberzgmK7
(Every penny I get goes straight to help more dogs)
Random but very important help needed. I’ve got a lot of dogs to travel to forever homes. They need what is called a “flight volunteer”. All you have to do is take them on the flight. We do everything admin wise. Zero cost for you.
Departing Bangkok after 25th June to either…

You can apply here. https://t.co/YW3efOnWYK
It’s for dogs like King Whacker, Rodney and Brad Pitt. Can’t stress enough how easy and how little involved there is but how much it would help a dog get to a forever home. Thanks in advance 🥰🙏
Before she was the Queen of Rock and Roll, Tina Turner was a farmer’s daughter in Tennessee. As a child, she sang in the church choir before becoming one of the most successful recording artists of all time.
In addition to being a once-in-a-generation talent that changed American music forever, Tina’s personal strength was remarkable. Overcoming adversity, and even abuse, she built a career for the ages and a life and legacy that were entirely hers.
Jill and I send our love and prayers to her husband Erwin, the rest of the Turner family, and fans around the world who are mourning today for the woman they agree was “simply the best.”
Tina Turner was raw. She was powerful. She was unstoppable. And she was unapologetically herself—speaking and singing her truth through joy and pain; triumph and tragedy. Today we join fans around the world in honoring the Queen of Rock and Roll, and a star whose light will never fade.
You can see the fleas on their faces. This is far from a perfect rescue though. Mum wouldn’t come near us and went deep into the undergrowth. There is a chance she could have more puppies in there too.
We will of course go back tomorrow and try and catch her and even sedate her. We have goats milk for the puppies and they’ll get great care etc.
There are no perfect answers but leaving those puppies there they would be dead in 1-2 days max. If not sooner with the traffic. So it’s not a nice clean happy ending but it’s a start and 4 lives improved and probably saved.
The scarcest resource of all is often time. Tomorrow we’ll try do more 🙏
