@kexy_payn In other movies, Bear asking if Nikki loves him would be the turning point for him to realize her love for him was indeed artificial, and would do what they could to make things right. That's what makes the rest of this scene and the following assault scene more horrifying.
@nikkilovesbear Post-Wish Nikki had already used a wish to have Bear love her back; although, does that mean the real Nikki doesn't get one now, considering it wasn't technically her who made the wish? 🤔
@jbillinson I think the one takeaway that most people miss when watching this film is that the music store used in the film is the same one used in Wayne's World.
@Rijsixmj_669 I'm sorry about your experience, no one deserves that. Even taking the SA out of the equation, I geuninely cannot understand the logic of your dad "getting the gay" out of you like that. Your parents clearly have serious problems beyond not accepting their child's sexuality. 😔
@StupidButterfIy When I went to see it again last week, a couple that was near me had brought their baby to the show (I had noticed about an hour in). Surprisingly, the baby hadn't reacted to any of the loud jumpscares, although the dad had left with the baby before the imfamous car scene.
@faeriebites66 Checked out "Psycho Killer" when it was theaters. Besides the female cop (who was giving it her all), the film was a predictable snoozefest for me. Even satanic worshippers partaking in an onscreen orgy couldn't elevate this film for me 🤣
Went to see #Obsession again, and it took me about an hour in to realize that there was a couple with their baby right across from me. Like... why would you bring your newborn to a movie like this? 🙃At least the father took the baby out of the theater before the car scene.
