i just want ALLLL of my kids to grow up and think, “i have to tell my mom. she’ll know what to do”… instead of, “i’m not gonna tell mom, she won’t understand”
I just heard this therapist say that sometimes being a loner is a trauma response. You’re so use to people you love not showing up for you &/or you may have grown up in a toxic environment. The only one you could depend on was YOU! So you naturally feel safe when you’re alone.
healing makes you realize how some people never deserve to be around you, no matter what they mean to you, your health is important and whoever doesn’t bring you peace should stay away from you
we may have not been together but it still hurts. I always wanted the best for you and for you to be happy. life is so unfair, thank you for the beautiful memories and that laugh of yours is something I’ll always remember. rest peacefully, Luis. siempre te recordaremos.. 🕊️🤍
Right now I can’t AFFORD anymore situations in my life that bring out the worst in me. It’s exhausting and requires too much for me to recover from. I need calmness in my life. Anything outside of that I don’t have the capacity for.
I’ll remove myself before I allow anger to consume me again . I like to love. I like to laugh . I like to be happy. So if I gotta distance myself to keep things that way, I will.
i have never walked around like i’ve never did any wrong in my life. i’ve mistreated people, i’ve made mistakes, i’ve been toxic in situations. but i’ve also GROWN & learned from my mistakes. i’ll always take accountability for my own actions, no matter what consequences come wi-
honestly, if u know how difficult and how long it took some people to recover their peace of mind and happiness, you'll understand why they shut all doors at any slight discovery of toxicity, and also why they can be so picky about who they allow in their lives.
I saw a girl post on TikTok that her therapist told her she cries in arguments because her parents didn’t let her talk about her feelings and that shit hit home because SAME.
