While Dee became the voice of Twisted Sister, Suzette became the creative force behind its image. Still a teenager, she designed the stage costumes, created the theatrical makeup, and helped build the glam-metal look that made the band unforgettable.

The image that shocked parents everywhere.

Much of it came from her.

Success didn't arrive overnight.

For years, the band played dive bars to small crowds. Money was scarce, the future uncertain, but Dee and Suzette married in 1981, started a family, and kept believing when most people would have given up.

Then *We're Not Gonna Take It* changed everything.

Success came fast.

So did the pressure.

Dee later admitted fame inflated his ego, and their marriage nearly fell apart. Instead of walking away, they chose counseling and stayed together.

Then everything crashed.

Twisted Sister broke up. Dee faced double bankruptcy and took ordinary jobs while Suzette worked in a salon. The rock star who had filled arenas couldn't afford to buy his children a candy bar.

Still, she stayed.

Still, they rebuilt.

Slowly, radio, voice work, Broadway, and songwriting opened new doors. Even the Christmas song Dee wrote as a gift for Suzette became a hit for Celine Dion.

Nearly five decades after one teenager walked into the wrong club with the wrong ID, Dee and Suzette Snider are still together.

Four children.

Grandchildren.

A love story that outlasted fame, failure, and every prediction.

He became famous, just as he promised.

But the look the world remembers was hers.

The decision has already been made to protect this country at whatever cost to the homeland and its citizens if push comes to shove at any juncture.
