We started our dystopian book club unit by sparking conversation with a 4 corners activity using utopian and dystopian visuals @ms_woodland @RebeccaRegan20
Ss have been working hard on their ALWTW Choice Board. They have the option of researching a waterborne illness, creating a TED Talk dealing with various global issues, or creating a Two-Voice poem. Some are even creating their own music to go along with the poem! @ms_woodland
Ss worked hard developing a claim, counterclaim, and rebuttal in their argumentative essays. They were asked to prove if Salva uses luck or skill to overcome challenges. Looks like skill is taking the lead. @ms_woodland @RebeccaRegan20
Mr. Vassel and SEL did an amazing job creating posters to honor the Veterans at Mitchel Manor today. Happy Birthday to the U.S. Marines and Happy Veterans Day! Proud to say my brother, Lieutenant Halstead, is now officially a Veteran. @ms_woodland
