@BBCSport can commentators please be reminded not to talk over play - especially irritating when it has nothing to do with the game being played. If they just want a general chat, turn the microphones off and leave us in peace!
@BBCSport I’m sorry to keep bringing this up but Nick, commentating on Djokovic match, is already verging on the verbal diarrhoea side…asking trivial questions and - biggest crime - speaking over play! And can someone remind McEnroe how to pronounce Djokovic’s name correctly.
@BBCSport Cd someone tell Chris Bradnam that while his deep knowledge of irrelevant stats is impressive, they mostly have nothing to do with the match we’re watching and we don’t need to hear them. Keep it relevant or keep quiet please.
@BBCSport commentator on Djokovic v is already in verbal diarrhoea mode and match not even started. Can msg be got to these people that we don’t need every second filled with trivia. We just want to watch the tennis! Relevant insights at end changes are ok but silence is golden.

@BBCSport do your team of Wimbledon commentators realise that we don’t need every moment between games filled with (mostly) irrelevant and inane words? With the notable exception of Andrew Cottam, they seem intent on leaving no spare second silent. Tedious. Irritating even.
We’re deeply concerned following the UK Government’s announcement yesterday. After reviewing the plans, we’ve put together our thoughts on what is wrong with the proposals and our recommendations. Read more: https://t.co/ZDzASF1vbC
A privilege to attend the unveiling of the new Women in War exhibits at the @IntBCC yesterday, tells the story of some very inspirational women! The rain just held off for long enough for the all female flypasts! #womeninwar
It was spine-tinglingly wonderful to stand beneath the @IntBCC memorial spire and watch the @RoyalAirForce all-female flypast - a moment I won’t forget in a hurry! And amazing to speak to the aircrew after they landed. What a way to salute the women the new silhouettes remember.
To celebrate our 75th anniversary, we’re going to donate an extra 75p from every 2025 ticket sold to a new charity!
We’d love your help deciding who. Find out more about the shortlisted charities and vote now: https://t.co/nwo2ZTI0fU
Votes close on 5 January 2025.

@AndrewCastle63 please please can you stop the inane irrelevant chat and pointless speculation. By all means talk about this match but otherwise it’s really ok to say nothing.
@Wimbledon@bbctennis once again Andrew Castle seems intent on overdramatising trivial and mostly irrelevant facts. It would nice if he cd confine himself to relevant commentary about the match we’re watching & otherwise keep quiet!
@bbctennis so here we go again…pls @JohnMcEnroe and @AndrewCastle63 can you confine your comments to the match we’re watching and keep the extraneous chat for out of work time. It’s just dull for those of us concentrating on the game.
@Eurosport @EurosportTennis please could you ask whoever is commentating on Alcatraz vs Tsitsipas match tonight to confine his remarks to what is actually happening on court or keep quiet. His irrelevant continual verbiage has caused me to turn off the volume it’s so distracting.
