If an MP/MLA can change parties & join BJP after an ED raid and suddenly all the corruption charges against him are gone...
Then can we really ever trust ED/Income Tax/CBI etc.?
When corruption investigation agencies lose faith of common people, then corruption will never go
I am now wondering how many lies were spread in the past 10 years. Entire IT Cell, Top leaders, even people in media and cinema said that Pandian has looted all Ratna Bhandar wealth.
This also coincided with protesting the Jaganath Parikrama work
Whosoever this woman is, extremely well done.
These regular road blockings for dharnas, protests, and VIP visits are a nuisance. When will political parties realise that not a single new voter will be added through such methods? In fact, people stuck in traffic will hate you, you may lose more than you gain.
Specifically to the BJP: move on from the women’s reservation issue. Nobody cares about it. No woman, except maybe the party cadre, is angry that the bill won’t be implemented right now. It’s not going to fetch you any votes. There is already too much traffic in India; don’t make it worse by blocking roads for pointless theatrics.
Coming back to this woman, I’m sure the deep state experts will soon find out her political allegiance and label her a deep-state agent planted by George Soros to dilute the women’s reservation bill issue, because shooting the messanger is easier than addressing the message.
Most Indians have been brainwashed with the idea we are “the fastest growing economy.” But what’s the point of chasing percentages if the fundamentals aren’t holding up?
If the economy is truly doing so well, why has India slipped from 4th to 6th place in global GDP rankings instead of moving up?
Growth without strength in currency and capital flows doesn’t translate into real progress.
While we celebrate growth numbers, the rupee continues to weaken, and that directly impacts purchasing power and long-term stability.
You can’t call it strong growth while the underlying value erodes.
At some point, the government needs to be questioned. Just like we amplify achievements, we should also talk about what’s not working.
The government needs to move beyond optics and focus on real fixes, managing FII outflows, strengthening the rupee through policies, and building actual economic resilience.
Because fastest growing means very little if we’re not actually getting stronger.
Odisha under BJP in last 2 years

Imagine spitting at the sun and think the spit has landed. BJP attacking India’s great son, Shri Biju Patnaik is a disgrace and an apology is due
Biju Patnaik was an Airforce pilot with Royal Indian Airforce and with Indian Airforce post Independence. When Pakistani backed tribals invaded Kashmir in Oct 1947 Indian Government organised airlift of India troops from Delhi to defend Kashmir . The airlift started morning on 27th Oct after signing of Instrument of Accession . Biju Patnaik was amongst the first set of pilots who landed their Dakota at Srinagar Airport in middle of fight without any intelligence whether the airfield was in enemy's control or still in forces control . This airlift by brave pilots of IAF helped stop the advancement of enemy and saved Kashmir
Biju Patnaik on request of PM Nehru flew to Jakarta and landed on an improvised airstrip using left-over fuel from abandoned Japanese military dumps, Patnaik took off with Indonesian political leaders such as Sutan Sjahrir and Sukarno, for a secret meeting with Nehru at New Delhi reaching India via Singapore on 24 July 1947.
During 1962 war when Sh. Biju Patnaik was CM of Orissa, PM Nehru asked him to help India setup a China monitoring Air Unit at
Charbatia Air Base near Cuttack . This Aviation Research Centre (ARC), a covert wing of the Intelligence Bureau and help with intelligence gathering against China and still functions under R&AW .
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Biju Patnaik shared a crucial partnership in strengthening India's defense, centered on the establishment of the Wheeler Island (later named Dr Kalam Missile Testing Range) missile testing facility near Balasore In 1993, then-Odisha CM Patnaik allotted the land to DRDO on the condition that Kalam would develop advanced missiles there to safeguard India. Patnaik's decision to hand over the land for free to the DRDO was based on his visionary desire to ensure India was robust against external threats. The island became the crucial site for testing major Indian missiles like Agni ,Akash Prithvi, Brahmos etc
And BJP instead of honouring him with a Bharat Ratna has the audacity to call him a CIA AGENT!
Now you understand why Naveen Patnaik never truly trusted most BJD leaders, and instead placed his COMPLETE FAITH in PANDIAN?
He had observed them closely for years.
A leadership class shaped not by vision or governance, but by survival instincts within a patronage driven system. Power hungry. Transactional. Lacking ideological depth. Always calculating the next move for personal gain.
Not builders. Not thinkers. Just operators.
And one thing Naveen has always had zero tolerance for is this.
Leaders around him assuming he is NAIVE.
He may appear detached, even understated, but he is deeply observant.
He reads intent. He tracks behaviour. He knows exactly who is loyal, who is opportunistic, and who is waiting for the right moment to switch sides.
That quiet awareness shaped how he ran the system.
Ministers were never given unchecked autonomy. Authority was carefully controlled. Decision making was centralized.
From a textbook democratic lens, this can be questioned.
But from a political management standpoint, it was deliberate.
Because Naveen understood a hard truth.
In a system where most actors are driven by self interest, decentralizing power without trust only accelerates decay.
So he created a parallel structure.
And he empowered Pandian within that structure.
Not as favoritism. But as a strategic counterbalance.
In Pandian, he found a rare combination.
Administrative clarity.
Execution capability.
And most importantly, personal loyalty.
Someone who did not need constant political validation. Someone who could deliver outcomes without building personal factions.
And above all, someone who would not betray him for short term gains.
That last part mattered the most.
Because in Naveen’s political worldview, competence can be developed.
But loyalty cannot be negotiated.
This also explains another layer.
Why Naveen Patnaik has never rushed to name a successor.
Because succession, in such an ecosystem, is not just about capability.
It is about trust.
And when the surrounding leadership lacks credibility, depth, and restraint, naming a successor too early can trigger fragmentation, factional wars, and eventual collapse.
So he waits.
Not out of indecision.
But out of calculation.
Because when trust is scarce, power cannot be handed over lightly.
And Naveen Patnaik understands that better than anyone around him.

Odisha vs Bihar in 20+ Years of Leadership under Naveen Patnaik and Nitish Kumar :
> According to 1999 (NSSO data)
> Odisha poverty rank: 28th
> Bihar poverty rank: 27th
> Both leaders ruled their states for almost 20 years
> Current poverty ranking
Odisha: 19th
Bihar: 28th
Odisha moved up in the ranking, while Bihar moved down.
Sometimes numbers speak louder than politics.
I'm not a trader. And, I have never promoted trading. But, this entire saga of FnO ban in India is out-right stupid and illogical.
The sad part is veterans are celebrating killing the "FnO" in the name of saving retail investors.
Really?
See, I get the point. As per SEBI data: 90% people loose money blah blah. Cool!
Then, ban IPOs also.
What about your PMSs? which generate single digit returns? 😂
The moment you start supporting a "ban economy" there is no end to banning things.
- This has happened on Cryptos.
- This has happened on FnO.
- This has happened on 1000Rs note ban.
Tomorrow it will happen with something else.
Then, we keep scratching our heads: oh FIIs are not coming.
Unlike Mutual Fund mafia guys, FIIs have 100 choices. They won't come in markets where banning is the de-facto mode. And, even well read people support stupidity at scale.
> Hospital room rent are costlier than 5 star hotels
> Medicines are sold on MRP instead of generic ones
> Insurance claims get rejected without valid reason
Swati Maliwal is raising some very practical issues. We need more MP like her to represent us.
Making India stop importing Russian oil (40% of our total oil imports) while committing us to buying half a trillion worth of American products; imposing 18% tariffs on Indian goods while at the same time having 0% tariffs on American goods, is a great trade deal. For America.
India’s only state to cancel an existing metro project (construction began) and spend that budget on Laadli Behna (Subhadra Yojana). This is no less than a terrorist attack on taxpayers by the most Hindu party.
