Join us on July 13 for the opening of our next exhibition: @JannaIreland on the Architectural Legacy of Paul R. Williams in Nevada. Williams was the first licensed Black architect to work in the western region of the US and designed in the 1920s-1970s. ๐๏ธ https://t.co/razx6c5udV
@annehelen Today is our second Crazy Hat Day of the school year. I am so tired! What really kills me is making Leprechaun traps every March for school. I did not go into parenting expecting to have to pretend Leprechauns are real. Santa and the Easter Bunny are enough.
@karenkho We love dried pig and cow ears. Our poodle lives to chew. She will gobble smaller/thinner chews right up, but the ears take longer and I donโt find them to be smelly.
Janna Ireland on the Architectural Legacy of Paul Revere Williams in Nevada, opens @nevadaart tomorrow, Saturday, July 2nd! Please stop by if you are in Reno.
@iSmashFizzle Years ago, I caught one of them on my Park Slope fire escape, peeling back the window screen at 4am. I tried to chase it away with a broom and it was not even a little bit frightened.
@MeWeFree_ I was. We called it โMGโ in Philly in the โ90s. Only a few kids were tested. So the program was for kids who were smart, yes, but they also had to behave well, be good at taking tests, and have parents who knew how to advocate for them. How many brilliant kids were left out?
@chaedria For medium boxes, USPS (media mail for books, etc., parcel post for everything else) is a great deal, but slow. My husband and I moved cross-country this way once, and shipped about 60 boxes, a few at a time. Another time, we moved by shipping a a pallet or 2 of boxes via Amtrak.
