SVT tog in en tidigare klimatkorrespondent som snabbt drog till med att vi lever i "ett klimat på steroider" och att forskarna varnat för detta i 50 år. När den besvärliga detaljen om människans roll kom upp, stämplades 162 anlagda bränder som lite "slarv från ett fåtal". Sedan var ordet fritt för Johan Rockström att läxa upp svenska folket igen.

Tänk på logiken ett tag: om svenskarna plötsligt inser att det är pyromaner och galna aktivister med tändvätska som sätter fyr på Europa, då försvinner ju all härlig klimatskam. Ingen kommer längre be om ursäkt för sin semesterresa eller sin dieselmotor. Och en befolkning utan skuld är en befolkning man inte kan kontrollera.
