For people who play Sims 4 and have the For Rent expansion pack, are there SUPPOSED to be ghosts/hauntings every night or is this a glitch?

If not, I just don’t get it. Are they Tomarang spirits? What is the lore?

The frequent hauntings make me not want to play this world.
