"The root cause of this war is Russian imperialism — the belief that Vladimir Putin has the right to decide who can and cannot be a nation.
We will resist you every inch of the way.
This is the last colonial war in Europe."
- Radoslaw Sikorski
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland

If true, well done, Donald, for damaging the US export defence industry. By the way, France’s MdCN — the only European alternative to the US Tomahawk — is up for grabs.
The MdCN (missile de croisière naval) is completely ITAR-free.
Putin odmowił zawarcia pokoju i spotkania z Zelenskim.

a normal person from 1995 did not want:
- USAID dismantled
- NATO dismantled
- the president to be granted absolute immunity by the SCOTUS
- the president to corruptly rug pull billions of dollars for himself
Elon Musk and the modern far right love to gaslight the public by claiming their views were considered normal a few decades ago. Do not fall for it.
There is absolutely nothing normal about their corruption, lies, and pro-Russian treachery.
The idea that today's far right represents traditional, moderate values from twenty or thirty years ago is a complete fabrication. They are pushing a radical, post-truth ideology rooted in racism and dishonesty, desperately trying to normalize positions that any sane person would have rejected in the past.
Look at what is happening right now under Trump: no mainstream conservative decades ago wanted to dismantle NATO, grant the president absolute legal immunity, eliminate basic checks and balances, or allow a leader to make billions of dollars directly from holding office. These are not traditional positions. They are a direct assault on democratic governance that would have been completely disqualifying thirty years ago.
The shift in foreign policy is equally alarming. No one with a functioning brain in the West would have tolerated a pro-Russian stance during the Cold War or its aftermath. Today, the far right openly acts as a mouthpiece for a hostile foreign dictatorship, treating Western alliances with contempt.
This is not conservative nostalgia. This also has nothing to do with common sense. It is a dangerous, modern extremist movement designed to erode the rule of law.
Reject the gaslighting and recognize this ideology for what it truly is, a toxic departure from sanity
Ethiopia was never colonized.
For much of its history, it was one of the poorest countries on the continent.
Meanwhile, Vietnam was colonized by the French, devastated by decades of war, and is now on its way to serious economic prosperity.
If colonialism were the answer to why Africa is poor, Ethiopia should be rich and Vietnam should be broke. Neither is true.
Can we please retire this excuse?
A multipolar world may resemble Europe during the 18th century, but with global scale. Great powers competing for hegemony, shifting alliances as needed to maintain the balance of power.
In such a world small states need to band together to survive. Will Europe unite or fall?
